We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory / Store Keeper Associate to manage material stocks and store operations at our real estate project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing materials, and ensuring that the inventory system is accurate and up-to-date. The role is critical for maintaining the efficiency of construction operations and ensuring zero delays due to material shortages.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Verify quantity and quality of deliveries against purchase orders.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to concerned departments/site engineers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and safety measures.
Qualification/Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in storekeeping and inventory control, preferably in construction and real estate.
- Familiarity with construction materials (cement, steel, plumbing, electricals, etc.).
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., Odoo, Excel, Zoho, SAP).
Other Requirements
- Construction Inventory management and reconciliation experience
- Material receipt and issuance processes
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer literacy – MS Excel, email, and inventory software.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
